Levi Steven Silva, 54, passed away on October 19, 2017 at the Conejos County Hospital in La Jara, Colorado. Levi was born on August 9, 1963 in La Jara, Colorado to Reginaldo and Porfelia Silva.
Levi was a handy man by trade and loved tinkering and working on things. He enjoyed working in his yard as well as cheering on his Denver Broncos. He loved his grandkids and was blessed enough to get to babysit them on many occasions. When he wasn’t spending time with his kids and grandkids, or watching the game, there was a good chance you could find him cruising the back roads listening to his favorite country music.
Levi is survived by his loving wife, Gerry Silva of the family home in Sanford. His children; Samantha (Yovani) Recinos, Francisco (Raychel) Cordova, David Palomar, Nicole (Josh) Mahan. His Grand Children; Yovani Recinos, Ranferi Recinos, Levy Recinos, Diego Recinos, Dominic Naranjo, Camron Naranjo, Ceasar Cordova, Nai’eli Mahan, and James Mahan. His Mother, Porfellia Silva. His siblings; Reggie Silva, Larry (Stephanie) Silva, Beatrice (Mike) Guerra, Andres (Gobi) Silva, Evelyn (Mike) Silva, and Jamie (Joseph) DeChatalets. As well as numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Reginaldo Silva. And his nephew, Michael Silva.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in La Jara, Colorado. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. also at Our Lady of the Valley. Interment will follow services at the Sanford Cemetery.
