I was fortunate to have Mrs. Gillson as a Music teacher in elementary school at LaJara elementary. I had so much fun in her class and practicing for any Christmas program. I was always sad when it was over. So sorry for your loss! May God be with you and comfort you in your time of need.

I was a student of Mrs. Gillson when she taught in Monte Vista in the 70's. She was a lovely person with a lot to offer. I learned so much from her and have been blessed to know her. My Deepest Sympathy for your loss. I just wanted to say I had Ms. Gillson in Band & Music throughout my Elementary and Middle School years. She was a great teacher and I truly enjoyed her classes. She was always cheerful and was a true music enthusiast.
